This more nuanced iteration of our beloved backpack, is comprised of American tanned natural Vache ( cowhide leather). The leather is left untreated with any dyes or chemicals and initially tanned in natural organic materials such as bark tannins. The leather is firm yet supple, and stiff with initial use, however will develop well with wear and will harbor a honey colored patina with time. The Backpack is outfitted with a single exterior 10 Gauge Silver Metal zipper, and an exterior patch pocket and exterior zip pocket. The interior is unlined, with the flesh side of the leather clean and finished and features an interior patch pocket.

The Cowhide is substantially heavier and stiffer and the Lambskin is softer and more subdued and both will wear incredibly beautifully with time.
